Welcome to Encounter and MoreThanSunday

Encounter has been the name of the form of contemporary worship resourced by the Marlow Team and based at All Saints Marlow. It has taken many forms over the past decade in order to express our desire to provide worship for younger families and others seeking a freer expression of worship in the Marlow Area Team Ministry.

Encounter's regular worship has now been incorporated into "the New Service" at All Saints Marlow, as from 16th September 2012.

Many of the ideals and lessons learnt by the Encounter community and their leadership team are being incorporated into this new weekly 10.45 service which responds to one of the initiatives - called "More than Sunday" which emerged from the life and deliberations of the people of Encounter.

We called this initiative "MoreThanSunday" because sums up that basic premise, that to follow Jesus Christ is a more-than-Sunday business, it’s a 24/7 one that involves every area of our lives! THE DREAM of those who form part of this MorethanSunday community in Marlow is summed up in these words,

"As God’s people, we dream of becoming a transforming presence in the Marlow area, encouraging all people to encounter God in many rich and vibrant ways."
